The Chapter
The Tau Theta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on April 2, 1978 by 6 distinguished women:
- Deborah Lorraine Mason Muhammad
- Dr. Verna Elaine Reynolds
- Nancy Rochelle Watkins Flanagan
- Lauralyn Denise Washingston Dotson* (Triumphant Soror)
- Sophonia Mae Christian Sims
- Monica Louise Green Vaughn
The charter members were honored by the presence of Past International President Janice G. Kissner, who presided over the chartering ceremony.
Since 1978, the Tau Theta chapter continues the legacy of our Founders and charter members through innovative programming, dynamic service and the exemplification of Zeta Phi Beta's principles.
